Better East Bay Parks

Advocating equal access to East Bay parks and open space for people on bicycles. Opposing the $500 million Measure WW tax as long as bicyclists are excluded from trails in EBRPD parks and open space.

About Us

Better East Bay Parks
We strongly value the preservation and protection of East Bay open space. We look forward to establishing a positive relationship between the bicycling community and the EBRPD, where we can help build and maintain trails for *everyone* to use. However, as long as the EBRPD encourages and subsidizes ugly and environmentally destructive cattle ranching on our own public land, while banning and ticketing people on bicycles, we must oppose Measure WW or any other extra funding. Seriously: you kick us out of our own public lands, and now you want us to vote you $500 million? How dumb do we look?
